6. Constrain and simplify your life ➡️ You have to tell your brain what you want to focus on, the feelings you want your thoughts to create for you. Just like computer software, it needs to be programmed. Your brain is trained to constrain. The more you can focus on one thing at a time, the better.

7. Decide ahead of time ➡️ What you want your life to look like, how you want to feel, what you want to eat. Your brain always makes better decisions AHEAD of time because you’re able to access your pre-frontal cortex and not react out of instinct from your amygdala.

8. Choose joy over immediate pleasure ➡️ The more we give into daily temptations that prevent us from the life we want (over-eating, over-consuming, over-drinking, over-netflixing) the more we turn away from true “clean” joy. The more we chose immediate pleasure, the more it numbs us to the clean joys (that have a more net-positive outcome for you).

9. Proper boundaries and relationships ➡️ If you believe that the external world is affecting how you feel, you will always be trying to control something or someone. People can do whatever they want in life. They can cheat on you, lie to you, talk bad about you. You don’t have to put up with it. You just need to set boundaries of what YOU will do if they do those things (and follow through). And do it out of love only, not control. It’s possible no matter how unreachable it can seem, just takes some work.

10. Achieve results with massive action ➡️ Good feelings create good actions, which create good results. Massive action is different than passive action like learning something (aka reading this post 😜). With massive action you don’t stop taking action until you get results. Results are your dreams getting realized.
